Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who we are
sportuojantis.lt ("we", "us", "the platform") is an online marketplace that helps clients find and book sessions with independent personal trainers in Lithuania. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.
2. Information we collect
Account information: if you sign up as a trainer, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password — we never store your password in plain text. Profile information: trainers may add a name, phone number, public contact email, city, address, bio/description, working hours, and a profile photo. Booking information: when you request a booking, we collect the name, phone number, email address, and any message you provide, along with your preferred date and time. Support messages: if you contact us through the support form, we collect your name, email, and message. Technical information: we use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in — we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the marketplace (showing trainer profiles, processing booking requests), send booking confirmation emails and notify trainers of new requests, respond to support requests, and maintain the security of accounts. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate sportuojantis.lt: Supabase, which hosts our database, handles authentication, and stores uploaded images; and Resend, which delivers transactional emails (booking confirmations, verification codes, support notifications). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, sessions, bookings, and reviews are permanently deleted. Some records (such as resolved support tickets) may be retained briefly for support quality purposes.
6. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate information via your profile settings, delete your account and all associated data at any time using the "Delete account" option in your dashboard, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the Support page.
7. Children
sportuojantis.lt is intended for use by adults creating trainer accounts. While sessions may be offered for children, accounts themselves must be created and managed by an adult.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page.
9. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, contact us via the Support page.
